2、cies. 1. SCOPE. 1.1 Scope. This commercial item description (CID) covers flexible aluminum and steel conduit. 1.2 Intended use. Flexible metal conduit covered by this CID is designed for use as metal raceway for wires and cables in accordance with the National Electrical Code. 2. CLASSIFICATION. 2.1

The contractor shall certifj and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this commercial item description and that the product conforms the producers own drawings, specifications, and quality assurance practice

The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery, and thereafter, as may be otherwise provided under the provisions of the contract. 5.2 Examination.
