Part or Identifying Number (PIN) example: M83538/7-1. QUALIFICATION: Protective covers shall be in accordance with the qualific
7、ation requirements of MIL-DTL-83538. The following details and exceptions shall apply: Group A: Visual and mechanical examination (100% inspection). Group B: Not applicable. Qualification and group C: Two MIL-DTL-83538/7 protective covers with mating connectors shall be required for stand alone qual
8、ification. However, if a manufacturer is in the process of qualifying MIL-DTL-83538/1 concurrently with MIL-DTL-83538/7, then one protective cover and mating connector shall be required. 9、B 4 Manufacturers that are qualifying this protective cover as a stand alone accessory, shall conduct the following sequence of tests: Visual and mechanical examination Salt spray Humidity Sand and dust Coupling torque Post test examination. Manufacturers that are qualifying the MIL-DTL-83538/1 conc
10、urrently with the MIL-DTL-83538/7, shall conduct the following sequence of tests: Visual and mechanical examination Salt spray Coupling torque Post test examination. All testing shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-83538. Changes from the previous issue: Marginal notations are not used in this revisi
