O BSI 1998 Page 4 EN 12482-k1998 Specified thickness Over Up to and including 2.01) 4 4.2 Requirements 4.2.1 Production and manqfacturing process Unless otherwise stated in the order, the production and manufacturing proces
12、ses shall be left to the discretion of the producer. Unless it is explicitly stated in the order no obligation shid be placed on the producer to use the same processes for subsequent and simiiar orders. 4.2.2 Qualitg control The producer shali be responsible for the performance of ali inspection and
13、 tests required by the relevant European Standard and/or the particular specification, prior to shipment of the product If the purchaser wishes to inspect the product at the producers works, he shall notify the producer at the time of placing the order. 4.2.3 Freedomjom defects The product shall be
14、tee hm defects prejudicial to its suitable and proper use. It shall have a smooth and clean rolling surface. The surface condition shall be agreed between producer and purchaser. 4.2.4 Chemical composition The chemical composition shall comply with the requirements as specified in EN 573-3. If the p
15、urchaser requires content limits for elements not specied in the above standard, these limits shall be stated on the order, after agreement between producer and purchaser. 4.2.5 Mechanical properties If mechanical properties are required, they shall be agreed between producer and purchaser and state
16、d on the order. 4.2.6 llerances on dimensions The tolerances on dimensions shad be in conformity with those specified in clause 6 or agreed between producer and purchaser and stated on the order. 18、ion shall be tested as specified in EN 4851. 4.3.2 lknsile test Selection and preparation of samples and test pieces shall be in conformity with EN 4851. 4.3.3 Retests Retests shall be carried out in conformance with EN 4851. 6 %lerances on dimensions 6.1 Thickness Tolerances on thickness are specif
19、ied in Table 1. Merances on thickness for nominal thickness between 8 mm and 12 mm shall be agreed between producer and purchaser. 6.2 Width 6.2.1 Strip without trimmed edges Tolerances on width for strip without trimmed edges shall be agreed between producer and purchaser and stated on the order. 6
