This European Standard shall be given the status of a nationa

16、l standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2006, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2006. EN 13025-3:2005 (E) 4 1 Scope Part 3 of EN 13025 specifies 20 l, 25 l and 30 l nominal capacity, round cylindrical and tapered removable head containers with steel and tinplate thickness not exceeding 0,49 mm. Recommended dimensions re

19、lated to this range of nominal filling volumes are shown in Tables 1 and 2 of this European Standard. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. 22、al or tapered packaging made of steel or tinplate, the bottom end of which is permanently fixed to the body and the top end of which can be removed as a lid and is closed by means of a closing ring, or alternatively, the top is a multi-lug cover which is closed by crimping to the body 3.2 overall he

23、ight hoheight of the finished container from base to the highest point (see Figures 1 and 2) 3.3 external diameter demaximum dimension of a container diameter (see Figures 1 and 2) 3.4 internal diameter dimaximum internal diameter of the container body shell (see Figures 1 and 2) 3.5 total capacity

24、(gross lidded capacity) volume of water held by the container when filled completely, i.e. following the removal of any air trapped in the container (for the method of measuring see EN ISO 90-2) EN 13025-3:2005 (E) 5 3.6 nominal filling volume (nominal capacity) volume of product which the container

25、 is required to hold 4 Dimensions The dimensions of removable head (open head) containers with a nominal capacity of 20 l, 25 l and 30 l shall be as given in Tables 1 and 2 and as shown in Figures 1 and 2. In addition the thickness shall not exceed 0,49 mm, with tolerances as specified in EN 10131 (

26、normal tolerances) for steel, and EN 10202 for tinplate. 5 Material The body and ends of the containers shall be made of steel FePo1 in accordance with EN 10130 or tinplate in accordance with EN 10202. 6 Construction 6.1 The longitudinal seam of the body shall be mechanically seamed or welded. The b

27、ody and fixed end shall be combined by seaming or other joining methods. NOTE 1 The container body can be tapered or straight-sided and in addition have bead(s) or corrugations and can be necked at the bottom or step sided at the top. NOTE 2 Handle(s) may be fitted. 6.2 The removable lid shall be fi

28、tted with a gasket of suitable material, compatible with the contents of the container. NOTE The removable lid can be fitted with an inserted flange type closure in accordance with EN 12928, a flexible plastics spout closure inserted after filling, the aperture for which is in accordance with EN 130

29、29, or other types of closures, if applicable the closure should be fitted with a washer of suitable material compatible with the contents of the container. The insertion of the closure should be such that its centre line is as close as possible to the vertical. 7 Finish The nature of the internal a

30、nd external finish shall be appropriate to the physical and chemical requirements of their intended use.
