23、ropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsforfactorymadeproductsforexternalthermalinsulation compositesystems(ETICS)basedonexpandedpolystyrene,deliveredasakit,andusedasthermalinsulationfor buildings. Thestandarddescribesproductcharacteristicsandincludesproceduresfortesting,markingandlabelling. ETICSarea
24、ppliedtoexternalsurfacesofneworexistingwallsand/orsoffitstoimprovethethermalinsulation. ETICSincludespecialfittings(baseprofiles,cornerprofiles,etc.)toconnectthemtoadjacentbuildingstructures (apertures,corners,parapets,etc.).ETICSgiveprotectionagainstweatheringandimprovetheappearanceofthe buildings.
25、Theydonotcontributetothestabilityofthewalland/orsoffitsonwhichtheyareinstalled. Thestandardcoverssystemswherethethermalinsulationmaterialisrequiredfortheloadtransfertothesubstrate. Thisstandardcoverssystemswithadeclaredthermalresistanceequaltoorgreaterthan1m K/W. Therequirementsfromnationalregulatio
