Thismethodappliestodrymaterial(baggedor

18、bulk)ortofreshlymixedscreedmaterials(readymixedorsite mixed)ortoproductssuppliedinprepackagedformorinpacksreadyformixing. Thisstandardappliesto: samplesofprepackagedscreedmaterialstakenbythemanufacturerduringproductionand/orbeforedispatch,by thecontractororclientbeforeorduringtheperiodofuseandsubseq

19、uentlyincasesofdisputebyanyinterested partyandsamplesofthefullymixedproductbeforelaying. Thismethodappliestomortarsofcementitious,calciumsulphate,magnesiteandsyntheticresinscreedmaterial. 25、lingweighttest(ISO6272:1993).EN138921:2002(E) 5 3Sampling 3.1Apparatus Ametalorrigidplasticsreceptacleorscoopofnotlessthan1lcapacity;Clean,dry,airtightcontainerswhichshall beinthatconditionatthecommencementofthesamplingoperation. 3.2Procedure Thecompositionofsamplesshallalwaysberepresentativeoftheav

26、eragecompositionofthematerial.Inthecase ofprepackagedproducts,themanufacturersrecommendationsforhandlingoftheindividualcomponentsshould befollowed. Thetestreportshallstatewhetherthesamplestakenarespotsamplesorcompositesamples(see3.6and3.7of EN1967:1989) Theminimumamountsofsamplematerialshouldbe5000g

27、.Ifagreateramountofscreedmaterialisrequiredthe sampleshouldcontainafullpackageofthematerial(e.g.a25kgsack). Sampleswhicharelikelytochangeinairshallbeplacedinairtightcontainers,suchascans,immediatelyafterthey havebeentaken. Whereverpossiblespecimensshouldbepreparedimmediatelyafterobtainingthesample,i

28、fnecessaryonsite.The specimensshallbepreparedwithinthemanufacturersstatedworkingtime. Iftransportationoffreshsamplescannotbeavoided,theyshallbesuppliedimmediatelyfortesting,accompanied byawritteninstructionstatingwhichtestsshallbecarriedout,andprotectedfromchanges,suchaslossofwater, entryofwateretc.

29、,asmayoccurduringtransportation.Specimensshallbepreparedimmediatelyonreceiptofthe sample,afterthesamplehasbeenmixedagainmanually. 4Mixing 4.1General Themixingshallbecarriedoutinstrictaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructions,usingthewaterorliquid contentindicated.Ifarangeofvaluesisgivenforthewatero

30、rliquidaddition,themeanvalueshallbeused.Ifthe manufacturerdeclarestheconsistencyofthemixedscreedmaterialthenthisvalueshouldbeobtained.The temperatureofthetestroom,theequipmentandthematerials(drymaterial,water)shallbe(20 5)C. 4.2Apparatus Mortarmixer,inaccordancewithEN1961; Concretemixer,(forcedactio

33、gatlowspeed.Themixingshallbecontinuedatlowspeedfora further45seconds.Themixershallbestoppedandthesidesofthemixingvesselshallbescrapedwithablade.It shallbemixedforafurtherminuteatloworhighspeedasrecommendedbythemanufacturer. FormixingcalciumsulphatescreedmaterialsseeprEN134542. 4.5 Mixingwithaconcret

34、emixer Themixingprocessinstructionsshallbefollowed,setoutbythemanufacturersdatasheetorontheproductlabel. ThesolidcontentofdrymortarmixshallbeaddedtothemixerasprescribedinTable2andsubsequently,the waterorliquidshallbeaddedoveraperiodof15secondswiththemixerrunning.Thentheprocessshallbe completedbymixi

35、ngforafurther120sto180suntilitappearsuniform. 4.6 Mixingwithothermixers Materialsforwhichnoneoftheabovementionedmixingproceduresissuitable,shouldbemixedaccordingtothe manufacturersinstructions. 5 Makingtestspecimens 5.1Apparatus Mouldsfortestspecimensshallgenerallybemanufacturedfromsteeloracomparabl

42、maybefoundinthetestmethodstandard(e.g.EN138928Determinationofbond strength) 5.3Procedure Themouldsshallbecleanedusingaccessoriesmadefromamateriallesshardthanthatofthemould(eg.copper orwood).Theinternalfacesoftheassembledmouldsshallbelubricatedwithaseparatingmaterialtoprevent adhesionofthemortar.Ifth
