9、 1998-1:2004+A1:2013 to be used in the UK, the latest version of the NA to this Standard containing these NDPs should also be used. At the time of publication, it is NA to BS EN 1998-1:2004. There are generally no requirements in the UK to consider seismic loading, and the whole of the UK may be con

10、sidered an area of very low seismicity in which the provisions of EN 1998 need not apply. However, certain types of structure, by reason of their function, location or form, may warrant an explicit consideration of seismic actions. Background information on the circumstances in which this might appl

11、y in the UK has been published in the BSI document PD 6698.The publication does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract.
