21、testmethodforhearingprotectorattenuationdescribedinEN248691andappliedinParts1,2and3isnot sufficientforleveldependentearplugs.Additionalmethodsofmeasurement,forthepurposesofdeterminingthe sounddeliveredtothewearersearfromthesoundrestorationcircuit,areunderconsideration.Untilsuchtimeasthis workiscompl
22、eted,thetestmethoddescribedinAnnexBofthisstandardisrecommendedforleveldependentear plugs,inadditiontotheEN248691test. Leveldependentearplugsaredesignedtoproviderestorationofexternalsounds,whileprovidingattenuationof soundsathighlevels.Theymaybeselectedforuseinintermittentorimpulsivenoiseenvironments
23、andwhereexternal warningsoundsarerequiredtobeheard.Thisstandardisconcernedwiththoseearplugshavinganelectronicsound restorationcircuit. Thispartofthestandardisaspecificationintendedfortypeapprovalpurposes,forwhich4setsofspecimenearplugs aretested,(furthersamplesmayberequiredfortestingunderEN3522). Th

33、Performance 4.3.1General LeveldependentearplugsshallmeetalltheperformancerequirementsofEN3522,includingtheminimum attenuationrequirementintheirpassivemode.Additionally,therequirementsspecifiedbelowin4.3.2shallbesatisfied. Specimensofearplugsshallbeconditionedandtestedasspecifiedin5.1.1and5.1.2.Thesc
