Insufficient or inappropriate packaging can lead to damage or wastage of the contents of the pack. .BS EN 16292:2013EN 16292:2013 (E) 5 1 Scope This European Standard specifies the profiles of thread for all the screw neck finis
16、hes for metallic, plastic and metallo-plastic closures. The depressed threads could be used on continuous thread finishes to reduce the thread depth at and adjacent to the mould parting line. Depressed threads are only used on 28 mm Roll-On Pilferproof (ROPP) type finishes where the closure is forme
17、d on the neck finish. 2 Requirements This document is used to reduce the risk of any prominent seam line or offset mould joint scraping the internal lacquer from the inside of formed metal closures or from paring internal material from a plastic closure. The depression does not generally exceed a =
18、30 maximum arc centrally placed on the mould parting line and does not generally exceed a depth of 0,30 mm. It is normally recommended that the start and finish of threads is at least 45 from the mould parting line. Minimum tolerances of thread diameter do not apply to the depressed area (see Figure
19、 1).
