It is identical to IEC

2、 60317-18:2004, incorporating amendment 1:2009. It supersedes BS EN 60317-18:2004 which is withdrawn. The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags. Tags indicating changes to IEC text carry the number of the IEC amendment. For example, text altered

3、 by IEC amendment 1 is indicated by !“. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee GEL/55, Winding wires. Foreword The text of document 55/909/FDIS, future edition 3 of IEC 60317-18, prepared by IEC TC 55, Winding wires, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and

13、was approved by CENELEC as EN 60317-18 on 2004-09-01. This European Standard supersedes EN 60317-18:1995 + A1:1998. The main changes with respect to EN 60317-18:1995 are as follows: new requirements for appearance, Subclause 3.2, added; new pin hole test, Clause 23, added. The following dates were f

14、ixed: latest date by which the EN has to be implemented at national level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2005-06-01 latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2007-09-01 Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.

22、N 60317-18:2004+A1:2010 EN 60317-18:2004+A1:2010 (E) INTRODUCTION This part of IEC 60317 is one of a series which deals with insulated wires used for windings in electrical equipment. The series has three groups describing 1) winding wires Test methods (IEC 60851); 2) specifications for particular t

23、ypes of winding wires (IEC 60317); 3) packaging of winding wires (IEC 60264). Page4 BS EN 60317-18:2004+A1:2010 EN 60317-18:2004+A1:2010 (E)SPECIFICATIONS FOR PARTICULAR TYPES OF WINDING WIRES Part 18: Polyvinyl acetal enamelled rectangular copper wire, class 120 1 Scope This part of IEC 60317 speci

24、fies the requirements of enamelled rectangular copper winding wire of class 120 with a sole coating based on polyvinyl acetal resin, which may be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets all specified wire requirements. NOTE A modified resin is a resin that

25、 has undergone a chemical change, or contains one or more additives to enhance certain performance or application characteristics. Class 120 is a thermal class that requires a minimum temperature index of 120 and a heat shock temperature of at least 155 C. The temperature in degrees Celsius correspo

26、nding to the temperature index is not necessarily that at which it is recommended that the wire be operated and this will depend on many factors, including the type of equipment involved. The range of nominal conductor dimensions covered by this standard is as follows: width: minimum 2,0 mm; maximum

27、 16,0 mm; thickness: minimum 0,80 mm; maximum 5,60 mm. Wires of grade 1 and grade 2 are included in this specification and apply to the complete range of conductors. The specified combinations of width and thickness as well as the specified ratio width/ thickness are given in IEC 60317-0-2. 2 Normat
