SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a solid film lubricant consisting of molybdenum disulfide in a solvent carrier which dries by reaction with air. It is intended for reduction of fr
3、iction of metal-to-metal contact. Additionally, coating of parts by molybdenum disulfide provides resistance to corrosion. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used to coat linkage parts of carburetors, or other metal parts which require lubrication but cannot be pr

REQUIREMENTS (When applied to sheet steel surfaces) 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 FILM CHARACTERISTICS Shall for
5、m a continuous, homogeneous coating of uniform thickness, free of cracks, blisters and foreign material. 3.2 APPLICATION CHARACTERISTICS Shall be suitable for application, after agitation, by brushing, spraying or dipping at all room temperatures. 3.3 TOXICITY Shall not contain chlorinated solvents
