2、, CELLULOSE/SYNTHETIC RUBBER AND RESIN ESE-M8G164-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE: The material defined by this specification is a moderate temperature heat insulating material composed of cellulose fibers, synthetic rubber and resins. This material is asbestos free. 2. APPLICATION: This sp

3、ecification was released originally for material used as a spacer gasket between the carburetor and intake manifold when the temperature will not exceed 150 C. 3. REQUIREMENTS: All tests shall be conducted in accordance with ASTM F 104, Type 3 material or SAE J 90 unless otherwise specified. Test sp

4、ecimens are to be selected from finished gaskets when practicable. Specimens used for fluid properties should not be cut or trimmed prior to exposure. 3.1 CONSTRUCTION The spacer-gasket consists of a cellulose board reinforced with an SBR rubber or NBR/phenolic resin binder, coated on all the outer
