2、1 SLEEVING, COATED GLASS, HIGH TEMPERATURE ESF-M3L58-A 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an acrylic coated woven glass yarn tubular sleeving. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an electrical insulating sleeve where good dielectric and

3、high temperature operation are required such as the field coil lead insulation in the starting motor. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A).

4、 3.1 DIELECTRIC BREAKDOWN, min 1500 V (ASTM D 350) 3.1.1 After Humidity 1200 V (C-96/23/96) 3.1.2 After Heat Aging 1200 V (E-168/200) 3.1.3 Resistance to Potting Temperature 1200 V No softening, blistering or signs of flow. 3.2 COLD BRITTLENESS, max - 57 C (ASTM D 350) 3.3 RESISTANCE TO OIL AND SOLVENTS (ASTM D 350) No softening, cracking or signs of flow after immersion in oil, Xylene ACS Reagent Grade and CC1 (4) ACS Reagent Grade.
