SCOPE The material defined by these specifications is one-sided self-adhesive moisture resistant synthetic resin
3、 bonded non-woven fiber padding consisting of natural and recycled fiber material. The adhesive film (hot melt adhesive) is covered by release paper or foil. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for material used as sound absorber in the passenger compartment and bonded to in
4、ner side of roof, door and instrument panel. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Prod
5、uction Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 10、tely 100 x 300 mm fiber pad sample and expose for 120 hours in the Florescent Sunlamp Cabinet with the headlining facing the light source and adhesive side of fiber pad bonded to the panel. (See FLTM BU 152-02). 3.3.3 Adhesion After Heat Ageing No loss of adhesion, no delamination or splitting of fi
11、ber material, no chipping. Test Method: 1) Apply 280 x 280 mm pieces of test material to 300 x 300 x 1.5 +/- 0.1 mm test panels, prepared according to clause 3. 14、e 5-8, Load “A“, -30 +/- 1 C. 3.3.4 Flammability 3.3.4.1 ESK-M99G145-B1/B2/B3 Burn Rate, max 100 mm/minute In order to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302, the materials, portions of components, and composites shall not burn or transmit a flame across their surface, at a rate o
15、f more than 100 mm/minute. To demonstrate, compliance, the sample size and method of testing shall be in accordance with FLTM EU-BN 024-02. 3.3.4.2 Performance - Environmental Ageing Requirement All materials, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have not been tr
16、eated, modified or reformulated, and exceed a maximum burn rate of 75 mm per minute as specified by the Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM EU-BN 024-02, must be evaluated for permanency of the materials flame retardant properties per SK-M99P9500-A, Table 1 according to the accelerated environmen
17、tal ageing requirements applicable to the basic material category of this particular specification. Any material, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have been treated, modified or reformulated to conform to Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM EU-BN 024-02, r
18、egardless of maximum burn rate, must be evaluated for both permanency of materials flame retardant properties and changes in mechanical, chemical and physical properties per SK-M99P9500-A, Table 1 applicable to the basic material category of this particular specification. Test Method: Place a 100 x 100 mm sample of material soaked with distilled water in a beaker glass of one liter capacity and cover tightly with a lid. Mainta
20、in at a temperature of 35 +/- 2 C for 14 days. Remove lid and examine for evidence of mildew development. 3.3.6 Quality The material shall be of uniform quality free from foreign material and properties detrimental to normal production use. 3.3.7 Substance Control Legal, health, safety and environme
21、ntal constraints may apply to the materials which are submitted for approval to this specification. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification an
