Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative hu
5、midity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Age test panels according to applicable engineering material specification. 2. Blast the test panels at a steady uninterrupted period of 20 - 30 seconds with 270 cc of the iro
6、n grit using an air pressure setting of 275 kPa. 3. Evaluate tested panels by comparison to Figures 1 through 10 on pages 3-4, or by using colored standard photographs. 4. The paint chip resistance tester (Gritometer) at Ford Motor Co., Body Engineering, is the standard to which all Gritometers must
7、 conform in effectiveness. For standardization, air pressure may require adjustment to show equivalent results to the Ford Gritometer. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and ha
