Apparatus Required Beaker Two 600 mL beakers or equivalent suitable for holding sufficient solution into which 50 x 75 mm test panels can be submerged. Glass Hooks Suitable for use in suspending test panels with 6 mm diameter ho
3、les. Materials Required Steel Test Panels Refer to FLTM BJ 106-01. Solutions Required Hydrobromic Acid 0.1 +/- 0.01 % aqueous solution. 4、tions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. 5、3 Copyright 2001, Ford Global Technologies, Inc. Procedure 1. Prepare two steel test panels by sand or bead blasting as described in FLTM BJ 106-01. 2. Using glass hooks, dip and swirl the panels for not more than one s in the hydrobromic acid solution. Within one s dip the panels into a sample of t
6、he rust preventive at 23 +/- 2 C. Immerse and remove the panels 12 times over a period of 60 s in the rust preventive oil to assure that the panels are wetted thoroughly. 3. Hang the panels from glass hooks for 4 h at 23 +/- 2 C. 4. Examine and report any corrosion, staining or other corrosive attac
7、k occurring on the significant area of the panel as per the applicable Engineering Material Specification or Material Standard. Note: Do not evaluate the area 4 mm from the hole (used to hang the part) or the area 4 mm from the outside edge of the panel (refer to Figure 1). Chemicals, materials, par
