Apparatus Required Cold Box Maintained at - 40 +/ - 5 F Brass Rod 1/4 inch in diameter - 6 inches long Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a control
3、led atmosphere of 23 +/ - 2 C and 50 +/ - 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the s ame conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Cut a 6 inch length of vinyl tape from the sample roll. 2. Condition the tape specimen and the brass rod for 2 h at -
4、 40 +/ - 5 F. 3. While still in the cold chamber, wrap the tape spirally aroun d the brass rod and immediately unwrap. 4. Examine for any cracking of the tape specimen. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
