APPLICATION The material is used as protection pad on carpets in the passenger compartment and/or as specified o
3、n Engineering Drawings. 3. REQUIREMENTS Note: The material shall be conditioned for a minimum of 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity prior to test and tested under the same conditions. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must confor
4、m to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) Color, surface and finish shall match the Master Trim Sample as approved by the Design Department. 3.2 DIMENSIONS As specified on Engineering Drawings 3.3 HEAT AGEING No cracking Test M
5、ethod: Place specimens 25 x 100 mm in size in a mechanical convection oven maintained at 70 +/- 1 C for 70 hours. After this conditioning period bend specimens 180 around a mandrel of 6.35 mm in diameter. Examination shall be done on specimens bent 180 from a distance of 30 cm. 3.4 COLD RESISTANCE -
6、30 C (FLTM BO 151-01, except use a steel ball of 225 g and 38 mm in diameter) After test the material shall not show any breaks, cracks or other surface failures. 3.5 Abrasion Resistance 1000 Cycles (FLTM BN 108-02, CS-10 Wheels, 1000 g load) After test, the specimen must not show any greater signs
7、of abrasion than the Master Sample approval by the Body Materials Development Laboratory, Body Engineering. 9、8D4535-A No requirement 3.8.2 S-M98D4535-B (FLTM EU-BN 024-02) Burn Rate, max 100 mm/minute In order to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302, the materials, portions of components, and composites shall not burn or transmit a flame across their surface, at a rate of more than 100

To demonstrate compliance, the sample size and method of testing shall be in accordance with FLTM EU-BN 024-02. 3.9 PERFORMANCE-ENVIRONMENTAL AGEING REQUIREMENT All materials, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have not been treated, modified or ref
11、ormulated, and exceed a maximum burn rate of 75 mm per minute as specified by the Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM EU-BN 024-02, must be evaluated for permanency of the materials flame retardant properties per SK-M99P9500-A, Table 1 according to the accelerated environmental ageing requirement
12、s applicable to the basic material category of this particular specification. Any material, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have been treated, modified or reformulated to conform to Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM EU-BN 024-02, regardless of maximum burn rate, must be evaluated for both permanency of materials flame retardant properties and changes in mechanical, chemical and physical properties per SK-M99P9500-A, Table 1 applicable to the basic material category of this particular specification.
