Where this is not possible, suitable test panels, made from the same material and prepared in the same manner as the component, should b

4、e used. 3.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The PTFE coating shall be uniform in color, hiding power and coverage and free from obvious imperfections as determined by unaided visual examination. The coating shall be smooth to the touch and free from cracks when observed at a magnification of 10X. 3.2 SPECIFIC

5、REQUIREMENTS 3.2.1 Coating Thickness (FLTM EU-BI 17-1) 15 - 45 microns unless otherwise indicated on Engineering drawing. 3.2.2 Adhesion No chipping or flaking (FLTM EU-BI 6-1, Method B) ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFICATION SA-M99P9100-A Page 2 of 2 3.2.3 Resistance to Methanol Fuel No peeling, cracki

Upon request, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineering activity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance

15、 with all the requirements of this specification (test results, not nominal values), the material designation and code number, and test specimens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of a material will be based on its performance to this specification and on an assessment of suitability for intended processes and/or applications. Upon approval, the material will be added to the Engineering Material Approved Source List.
