2、 MOLDABLE 1. SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are flat needled, nonwoven carpets of good quality and uniform composition used for molded applications. The carpet face is made with 100% post industrial fiber and post consumer fibers. The backing is made with a 35% natural fiber com
3、ponent which is needled to the face carpet. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for moldable trunk components. 2.1 LIMITATIONS This material may only be used in the molded condition. Unmolded material will rope. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the
4、 end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-MX15P32-D/latest and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded in the scanned data package. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS
5、Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in W
6、SS-M99P2222-D1/ latest. Data must be included in material submission package. 3.1.2 Recycled Content The face material must contain 100% recycled content as defined by WRS- M99P42-A2 (Textile Materials, Identification of Recycled Content). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on t
7、est specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as reheating or molding.
