SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a flexible foamed polyvinyl chloride compound. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used in exte

REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.4.1 Preparation of Test

10、a part with the finished ends cut off. Test Method: Weigh a sample 413 +/- 3 mm length to the nearest 0.01 g. Bend sample in a U shape and place it into a container with 150 mm of water. Each cut end shall not extend out of the water more than 19 mm. After 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C, remove the sample and c
11、arefully blot with a clean paper towel (without compressing) to remove all surface moisture and immediately reweigh. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 Extrusion defined by this specification is to be used under a PVC skin defined by ESB-M4D284-C4. 5.2 This material shall not be used in an application when it will come into contact with a moving painted surface e.g. shed lip.
