REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers m

11、fication. Acceptability on the basis of such tests is the function of the Axle Engineering Department, Powertrain and Chassis PEO. Following initial certification, in order to stop shipment, an engineering functional rejection will be required. 3.6.1 Vehicle Rear Axle Score Test Material shall pass
12、500 drag starts without any evidence of gear teeth scoring when tested in accordance with the Axle Engineering Department test and Development Physical Testing Procedure No. 001. 3.7 PHYSICAL AND/OR PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS AND FINISHED PRODUCT When required, shall be as specified on the affected pa
13、rt or product engineering drawing, or in the affected part or product engineering performance specification. 3.8 QUALITY The material shall not be abrasive nor corrosive to steel in the presence or absence of water and shall contain no fillers, such as talc, fullers earth, mica, pulp, cork, asbestos, or other deleterious substances.
