SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are non-woven fibrous batts of good quality and uniform construction laminate

4、d to a non-woven scrim. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for materials used as sound absorbing insulators on door panels and back panels of 1996 F-Series trucks. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. In

5、addition to the requirements listed herein, the material shall meet all applicable requirements of WSS-M99P32-A 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 C

Results shall be made available to Materials Engineering prior to material approval and release. 3.13 ACOUSTICAL PERFORMANCE Acoustical performance of these materials must be evaluated and approved by the appropriate NVH Dev

They are not recommended for use in areas where ambient or operating temperatures exceed 90 C for continuous periods of time exceeding 96 hours. These materials are intended for use only in areas where there will not be any load bearing or compressive conditions.
