SCOPE The material defined by this spe

2、cification is for factory fill automatic transmission fluid (ATF) composed of base oil and additives for optimized anti squawk performance of shifting clutches. 2. APPLICATION This specification is released for factory fill application of various automatic transmissions. This material consists of ap

3、proved WSS-M2C938-A ATF and anti squawk top treat (friction modifier). 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Stan

4、dard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). This material is made of approved (and qualified per WSS-M2C938-A specification) ATF and addition of friction modifier to improve anti squawk performance of fluid. 3.2 COLOR Red (ISO 2092) 3.3 VISCOSITY 3.3.1 At 100 C 6.2 mm2/sec max (ISO

The entire formulation must be reviewed and approved for use by Ford Toxicology Department. MSDS must accompany all containers other than tank cars quantities and Ford Tox

13、icology Identification Number must be prominently displayed. 3.14 QUALITY CONTROL/SUPPLIER TESTING Material compliance for this base material (WSS-M2C938-A) must be in compliance per WSS-M2C938-A specification and 3.7 of this specification (page 2). Testing required on every batch is: 3.2, 3.3 (New
