SCOPE The material defined by this specificatio
2、n is a construction PVA dispersion adhesive for production of a strong elastic bond. It is suitable for adhesive purposes on wood veneer assemblies. WSS-M2G570-A A Melamine resin suitable for wood-to-wood bonding 2. APPLICATION This specification was released for a construction adhesive suitable for
3、 use on wooden decorative automotive components. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. When in the fully assembled form the veneer assembly must perform to the Material specification requirements of WSS-M15P34-B1 or as specified on
4、 the engineering drawing. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 MATERIAL PROPERTIES 3.2.1 Color White, transparent after setting 3.2.2 Viscosity 290 secs +/- 10% Viscosity cup 8mm at 20C 3.2.3 Open Time 6 - 8 minutes 3.3 APPLICATION Assembly should take place within the open time. Adhesive is non-staining, but contact with metal should be avoided due to tannic acid in the timber, which could cause discoloration.
