2、36-A5 POLYETHYLENE BACKED, 340 g/m NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. It is then coated with a polyethylene back coating. 2. APPLICATION This mate
3、rial was released originally for carpets used for full floor application as part of the Carpet Construction Strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item carpet assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated) shall meet all requirements of the WSS-M8P16-A performanc
4、e specification for full floor applications and the appropriate requirements in the Sound and Heat SDS. This carpet meets the Resistance to Abrasion requirement of 2,000 cycles per paragraph 3.13 of WSS-M8P16-A, therefore, throw-in mats must be standard equipment or a heel pad must completely cover
5、the areas most vulnerable to driver wear. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens t
