2、to & Technology 1. SCOPE This standard specifies the stainless steel tubes used by GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology Company(hereinafter referred to as the “GMDAT“). 2. MANUFACTURING METHOD 2.1. The tubes shall be manufactured by the seamless process, the automatic arc welding process or the electric resi

3、stance welding process. 2.2. The tubes shall be heat-treated as specified in Table 1 in accordance with the type. Table 1. 7、 Auto & Technology Remark 1. SUS 304 TKC, SUH 409 TKC and SUS 430 TKC shall be for automatic arc welding or electric- resistance welding. 2. When designating seamless tubes, electric-resistance welding tubes and arc welding tubes -S, -E, -A shall be suffixed to the symbol of type. Ex) SUS 304 TKA-S

For the class TKA, 200N/mm 2added to the values specified in Table 4 may be designated as the upper limit of the tensile strength as required. 2. When the tensile test is performed wit

12、h No. 12 test piece for tubes under 8mm in wall thickness, the minimum elongation value shall be calculated by subtracting 1.5% from the values given in Table 4 for each decrease of 1mm from 8mm thickness, and rounded-off to an integer in accordance with KS A 0021Rules for Rounding Off Numerical Val

13、ues. 3. 14、of elongation rate shall be recorded. 4. In case of welded stainless steel tube, No. 12 test piece shall be taken from a seamless portion. 4.3. Expanding Tubing shall be capable of being expanded over a tapered mandrel having an angle of 60 until the diameter at expanded end is increased 20% without

15、 cracking or showing flaws. 4.4. Bendability The reduction area of tube shall be 6% max., when it is bent with 360 with a radius of 3D(D : Outside diameter of tube), 4.5. Flattening There shall be no cracks on the outside surface after the flattening test in accordance with Table 5. Table 3. Flatten

Welded joints shall be free from harmful defects such as cracks, blowholes, uneven surface, and lots of non metallic inclusions. 4.7.2. As SUS 304(L) TK and SUS 4

18、30 TK are susceptible to integranular corrosion after welding or prolonged use at 400 or more, use of materials containing Ti or Nb is recommended where it is necessary to prevent it. 19、 Auto & Technology 4.8. Surface condition 4.8.1. The tubes shall be straight, and their both ends shall be at a right angle to the axes. 4.8.2. The inside and outside surfaces of the tubes shall be well-finished, and free from defects harmful to use. 5. NOTE Samples of materials or parts that follow

20、 this standard shall be approved by GMDAT Technical Center b efore mass production & delivery. In the event of any modification form this standard, it is the sole responsibility of the supplier to inform the purchaser of all such modifications. Furthermore, the supplier shall submit the modified sam

21、ple for reapproval by GMDAT Technical Center before mass production & delivery. 6. TEST 6.1. All tests shall be performed at 23 5 . 6.2. The purchaser may designate the flaring test and hydraulic test. In this case, test items, sampling method and criterion of acceptance shall be consulted with the

22、manufacturer. 6.3.
