This specification specifies the requirements of basic property for patterns and qualities of the textile fiber fleece used for sound absorber in automobiles. 1.2 Material Description. One of the following two types shall be u

4、sed. 1.2.1 Type A. Compression - molded textile fiber fleece mixed with resin that is used as bolster around the engine room. 1.2.2 Type B. Type A material with crepe paper on fleece as backing. 1.3 Typical Applications. This specification applies to the textile fiber fleece used for sound absorber

In addition, product MSDS/SDS submissions must be in compliance with specific country General Motors TMC003 Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet guidance documents where available. 5.6 All materials supplied to this standard must comply with the requirements of GMW3059, Restr

15、icted and Reportable Substances for Parts. 6 Approved Sources Engineering qualifications of an approved source are required for this standard. Only sources listed in the GM Materials File under this standard number have been qualified by Engineering as meeting the requirements of this standard. For

16、other GM locations, the responsible Engineering group should be contacted to obtain the approved source in that individual country. 6.1 Approval and Quality Assurance Procedure.
