SCOPE All types of seats for passenger cars with cushions mounted in separate frame or structure 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new assembled seats 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. Jig for fitti
4、ng seats in actual field conditions 4.2. Leveling surface table 4.3. Measuring instruments for loads The measuring instruments shall be capable of measuring the load with maximum resolution of 0.5 kgf. 4.4. Weight loading equipment Equipment capable of loading the weight greater than 200 kgf 4.5. Di
5、al gauge or Displacement measuring instrument The measuring instrument shall be capable of measurement with the maximum resolution of 0.01 mm. 4.6. Weight loading jig Hip model pressurizing jig. 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Preparation 5.1.1. Fit the seat-fixing jig on the leveling sur
6、face table, and then mount a seat on the jig. 5.1.2. Set the angle of the seat back to the position specified in the design standard. If the design standard is unknown, set the angle at 25 28 backward. 5.1.3. Set the adjuster systems of the seat as follows: (1) Guide rail: Position specified in the

Test Methods 5.2.1. Load the initial weight of 2 kgf on a position
8、 150 mm ahead the seat back with the hip model as shown in fig. 1, and then measure the initial displacement. 5.2.2. Load the weight of 200 kgf at a speed of 400 mm/min on the loading model for 20 seconds, and then measure the maximum transformation of the frame. 5.2.3. Remove the load and apply the
9、 initial load (2 kgf) to measure the permanent transformation. 5.2.4. Test both of LH and RH for the rear seat. 5.2.5. The measuring points of the displacement are shown in fig. 2. Any extrusion shall not be generated to bring hazard to the cushion. 5.3.3. The locking device shall not be released. 5.3.4. Any abnormal transformation shall not occur. 5.3.5. The permanent transformation shall satisfy the following conditions: (1) Bench seat: 10 mm max. (2) Separate seat: 5 mm max.
