Dimensional measuring equipment, e.g. a linear dial gauge to DIN 878 or BS 907, with a range of 10mm an accuracy of 0.01mm, and extend

PRECAUTIONANDTESTMETHOD 5.1. Precaution 5.1.1. Requirement for force-deflection test The test shall be carried

5、out at a room temperature and comply with the force and the test direction specified on the drawing. Care shall be taken that the test piece is not deflected during mounting into the fixture. If the test result is inappropriate, the test piece shall be tested again after at least 24 hours. If the fo

6、rce, on the force indicating device on the test machine is influenced by the weight of the test piece and/or its fixtures, compensation shall be made prior to the commencement of the test. 5.1.2. Precaution for permanent set test The temperature of chamber and the test period shall be observed, taki

7、ng care that the test piece is not deflected during mounting into the fixture. 5.2. Test method 5.2.1. Test method for the force-deflection characteristics. (1) The unstressed height ho shall be measured prior to testing. (2) After attaching the test piece to the fixture, the initial force Fvshall b

8、e applied to the test piece and removed at the same velocity. This procedure shall be repeated until the zero range is within 0.01mm (generally repeated 3 times). Test speed for force-deflection characteristics is referred to test condition of force-deflection mapping (see relevant component DWG) (3

9、) Apply Fvto the test sample, and then adjust as zero point. Fkshall be applied to the test piece after the given period(6 , 60 , 600 , 6000 seconds), the deflection shall be measured. For S6measurement, the deflection shall be measured after 6seconds. For S6000, after 6000 seconds. (4) For the cree

10、p characteristics test, the deflection shall be generally measured after 6000 seconds, but may be calculated from the following formula so as to reduce the test period. S6000= 1.5(S600- S6) Both S6and S600shall be measured, and the difference between two shall be multiplied by 1.5 to obtain the valu

11、e. (5) If specially specified as EDS-T-7134 on drawing, the test shall be carried out as follows. The force of 1.25(Fv+ Fk) shall be applied to and removed from the test sample 5 times prior to testing. Test method for permanent set (1) S6and S6000shall be calculated through the force-deflection characteristics test to clause 5.2.1. The test sample shall be maintained for 241 hours at room temperature and tested as follows. (2

14、) The test sample shall be inserted to the test fixture, and the distance between the upper fixture and the bottom fixture shall be measured. Thereafter, the distance between fixtures shall be adjusted in compliance with the deflection of S6+ S6000using the bolt attached to the fixture. (3) The test

15、 sample shall be placed into chamber, and maintained for given period at the temperature specified on the relevant component drawing. (4) At the end of specified period, the test sample shall be removed from the chamber and maintained for 61 hours at 235k with still stressed. (5) The stress shall be

16、 removed, and the test sample shall be detached from the test fixture. After 603 minutes, hsshall be measured in the same way as hois measured. (6) The test result shall be calculated as follows, and evaluated according to the specification of the appropriate component drawing. (%) ) - () - (= SET P
