After the sample is pressed, no load is applied in the standard state in 3.1.3.1. Unless specified otherwise, it is left for

Measurement of shear adhesion strength is made with UTM at a tensile speed of 200 mm/min. after the sample is left exactly 10 minutes. In case the strength of the material itself to be

The time during which a marked reduction of adhesion or bonded area is shown, however, shall not be added to the adhesive maintenance time. 4.5 Initial Adhesive Strength Test. 4.5.1 Type of Test. The surface adjustment of the sample shall conform to 3.1.3.3, and the material shall be the steel sheet with thickness 0.5 mm or below cut to (20200) mm unless specified otherwise. 4.14.3 Adjustment of Sample. Adhesive shall be applied to an entire side of the

21、steel sheet according to 3.1.3.4, which then shall be left to dry in the standard state in 3.1.3.1 for 48 hours unless specified otherwise. 4.14.4 Test Method and Result. Unless specified otherwise, the sample is put inside a low temperature chamber adjusted to (-202) E for 30 minutes. There it is a

The peeling of and cracks of the film is visually inspected and the result is recorded. In case the bending test cannot be performed inside the low temperature chamber, test shall be con

This test applies to adhesive used mainly for bonding of vinyl films or vinyl leathers, and is to evaluate contamination of the vinyl by exposure to ultraviolet rays, such as solar r

24、ays. 4.15.2 Test Method and Result. The vinyl film or vinyl leather to be bonded are cut to a (3070) mm, half of whose inner surface is coated with oil with a paste brush. In the standard state in 3.1.3.1, it is dried naturally for 24 hours and subsequently its surface is exposed to light by a weath

25、er-O-meter (to EDS-T-7422) for 100 hours. Through visual comparison of it with the portion not coated with adhesive and unexposed portion, leak of adhesive out to the surface, discoloration and contamination are evaluated. 4.16 Dilution Test. After 80cc of sample adhesive is put into a 100cc graduat

26、ed cylinder, 200cc of designated solvent is added to dilute it. After being capped and stirred sufficiently to reach a uniform concentration, it is left in the standard state in 3.1.3.1 for 24 hours. Marked separation and precipitation of adhesive is examined. 4.17 Measurement of Solids Content. The

27、 weight of an appropriate capped container with diameter of 40 mm or more is measured (W1), and immediately after 3 to 5 gram of the sample is taken into it, the container is capped and its weight (W2) is measured. After the cap is removed, it is heated in a forced-type ventilating drier at (1053) E

28、 for 5 hours, and cooled in a desiccator. Then its capped weight is measured to calculate the solid weight by the following formula. 4.14.2 4G D8 2T9I . 9E=9P* $E F# 8* -C E+99I8t 3.1.3.37 8F FF: C-F :44 6# 77 3.1.3.18 E:41B7 862P (20200) mm ) 8$%P % 0.5 mm 8F8 IDD8p) F$ . 4.14.3 4G D8 99I . 31、.18 Measurement of Ash Content. The residual solid (W2) obtained in the clause 4.17 is put into a melting pot of known weight (W1), and then weighed. Following gradual heating in an electric oven, it is additionally heated at (76010) E for an hour and then cooled in a desiccator and weighed to calcu

This method is used for measuring the volume contraction of high viscosity adhesive. 4.19.2 Test Method and Result. One to two grams of adhe

33、sive is applied evenly on a 20 mesh net of (2030) mm in size and the weighed immediately (W3). Subsequently, weight inside distilled water of (232) E is measured (W4). The sample is left on a plate to prevent sticking of foreign matters to adhesive, and then naturally dried for 24 hours and cooled a

34、t (702) E . The weight in the air is measured again (W5), and the weight inside distilled water is measured in the same way as the above (W6) to calculate volume contraction by the following formula. Volume Contraction (%)= (W 7 F W 5) F (W 8 F W 6) F (W 9 F W 5) F (W : F W 6)(W7 F W 5) F (W 8 F W 6

35、) 100 When the sample is weighed inside water, bubbles shall not be attached to it. To do so, it is desirable to weigh it after the sample is dipped momentarily in alcohol before being dipped into water. In case of adhesive soluble in alcohol, however, this method shall be avoided. 4.20 Measurement

36、of Viscosity. According to viscosity measuring standard for each product. 4.21 Storage Stability Test. Adhesive is poured inside a sphere bottle with inside diameter of 70 mm to a depth of 120 mm or more and a circulating ventilator is installed. In a state where volatilization of solvent is prevent

37、ed, it is put inside a chamber kept at (602) E . After some time, it is taken out and made to reach an equilibrium of temperature in the standard state in 3.1.3.1. Then, viscosity is measured and recorded according to test method in clause 4.20. This procedure is repeated until adhesive is gelled or

38、 until its viscosity markedly increases. The heated time or the viscosity after some heating is recorded by figures that show stability. GI.
