2、Scope. This standard gives specifications for prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts with flange, with thread diameters from M6 to M16. Basis for this standard is ISO 7044, modified (EN 1664). See Figure 1. 1.2 Designation. GMW3287. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are ap

As specified on the detail drawing. 3.4 Thread. ISO 724, ISO 965-1. Thread tolerance, recommended 6G before surfa

9、ce treatment. After surface treatment, the thread shall be gaged according to ISO 1502 with a GO-gage of tolerance H. 3.5 Prevailing Torque. ISO 2320. 3.6 Tolerances. Product Grade A, ISO 4759-1. 3.7 Surface Discontinuities. ISO 6157-2. 3.8 Proof Load Requirements. According to ISO 898-2. 3.9 Accept

10、ability. ISO/TS 16949, GM Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). 4 Rules and Regulations 4.1 Legal Regulations. All materials must satisfy applicable laws, rules, regulations and recommendations valid in the country of usage. 4.2 Language. In the event of conflict between the English and domestic

11、language, the English language shall take precedence. 4.3 Inspection and Rejection. Samples of components or materials released to a GM general specification shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this general specification and approved by the responsible Engineering department prio

12、r to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new approval must be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of manufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial release must be completed. It is the responsibi

13、lity of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, without solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to c

14、ommencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering department and the supplier. 4.4 Initial Source Approval.
