2、ement for Federal Specification W-F-350 which has been cancelled. This commercial item description covers a letter size paper file backer, equipped with a prong type paper fastener for holding paper. 1. Salient Char acterist ics A. Paper stock of the file backer shall conform to the physical require
3、ments listed in Section 2 when tested with the appropriate test method. B. The file backer shall be 21.59cm by 27.94cm (8-1/2 by 11 inches). A tolerance of f 0.08cm (I 1/32 inch) is allowed in both dimensions. .C. The paper fastener shall be made of metal suitable for the purpose intended, and shall
4、 meet the requirements listed in Section 2 when tested with the appropriate test method. The prongs shall be attached to, or a continuation of, each end of the base. The metal shall be 0.030cm f 0.003cm (0.012 inch thick f 0.001 inch). The base length of the fastener shall be 6.99cm ( 2-3/4 inches).
