11、. ii Rec. ITU-T Q.4007.1 (08/2016) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of
12、 ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topic
13、s for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepa
14、red on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may
15、 contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure, e.g., interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to ex
16、press requirements. The use of such words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ITU draws attention to the possibility that the practice or implementation of this Recommendation may involve the use of a claimed Intellectual Pr
17、operty Right. ITU takes no position concerning the evidence, validity or applicability of claimed Intellectual Property Rights, whether asserted by ITU members or others outside of the Recommendation development process. As of the date of approval of this Recommendation, ITU had not received notice

However, implementers are cautioned that this may not represent the latest information and are therefore strongly urged to consult the TSB patent database at http:/www.itu.int/ITU-T/ipr/. ITU 2017

32、 Recommendation, the terms and definitions given in ITU-T X.290 apply: 3.1 implementation conformance statement (ICS): A statement made by the supplier of an implementation or system claimed to conform to a given specification, stating which capabilities have been implemented. The ICS can take sever
33、al forms: protocol ICS, profile ICS, profile specific ICS, information object ICS, etc. 3.2 ICS proforma: A document, in the form of a questionnaire, which when completed for an implementation or system becomes an ICS. 3.3 protocol ICS (PICS): An ICS for an implementation or system claimed to confor

36、numbering/naming and ordering of the proforma items. A PICS which conforms to this Recommendation shall be a conforming PICS proforma completed in accordance with the guidance for completion given in clause 5.1. 5.1 Guidance for completing the PICS proforma 5.1.1 Purposes and structure The purpose o
37、f this PICS proforma is to provide a mechanism whereby a supplier of an implementation of the requirements defined in ITU-T Q.3623 v.1 may provide information about the implementation in a standardized manner. The PICS proforma is subdivided into clauses for the following categories of information:

Item column The item column contains a number which identifies the item in the table. Item description column The item description column describes in free text each r

It implicitly means “is supported by the implementation?“ Status column The following notations, defined in ITU-T X.296, are used for the status column: m mandatory the capability is required to be supported. o optional the capability may be supported
