Hardened Dowel Pins are intended for use only w
5、hen precise alignment is required. For recommended limit and fits, see American National Standard B-4.1. 2.0 RESTRICTED CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES: Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the MPAPS B-50 specification. 3.
6、0 MATERIAL: Heat Treated Steel Case hardness: Rockwell 60 HRC Minimum Core hardness: Rockwell 47-58 HRC Pins may be carburized or thru hardened. If pins are carburized, the case depth will be: .010 inch minimum 5/32 inch and smaller .015 inch minimum 3/16 inch and larger 4.0 REAMERS: Machine reamers
7、 of nominal size may be used to produce the holes into which these pins tap or press fit. 5.0 POLICY FOR SELECTING PARTS FOR NEW DESIGN: Approved parts are so designated to reduce variety of parts and assure maximum availability, interchangeability, and cost savings in volume buying. For new design,
