5、.101-GS/PL. 2.0 POLICY FOR SELECTING PARTS FOR NEW DESIGN: Approved parts are so designated to reduce variety of parts and assure maximum availability, interchangeability, and cost savings in volume buying. For new design, parts shall be selected from “Approved“ part list only. Material and Finish:
6、Types 1 or 5, Drilled, Zinc Trivalent (ZN6A) Diameters: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1 inch Lengths: 1/4 inch increments 3.0 SERVICE PARTS SUBSTITUTION POLICY: In the event that engineering does not indicate a “Do not substitute“ in engineering specifications, the following substitutions may be
7、 implemented in service. This policy is the result of a proposal circulated April 20, 1981, and subsequently approved by engineering departments worldwide. Headed Pins To be Replaced Service Replacement Type 1, Plain (PLN) Type 5, Zinc Trivalent (ZN6A) or Type 1, Zinc Trivalent (ZN6A) (if type 5 equ

11、umber, pins will be furnished plain or plated in accordance with the MPAPS and class listed below: Plain (PLN) Zinc Trivalent (ZN6A) MPAPS G-20, Class 6A 7.0 RESTRICTED CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES: Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the
12、 requirements of the MPAPS B-50 specification. 8.0 HOLES: Holes drilled in the body of the pin must follow specifications listed and the head to hole minimum as designated by part number. The word “NONE“ in the Head to Hole column indicates not drilled. 9.0 WORKMANSHIP: Headed pins will not contain
