When materials
6、 are used which are not specifically designated, they shall be of the. highest photographic quality and suitable for the purpose. 7、e dry, free-flowing, 3.3 WEIGHT TOLERANCE.- The weight of each chemical shall be without lumps OP clusters, and in such form as to dissolve easily. accurate to within two percent of the specified weight. The weight of the contents of each container shall be accurate to within three percent of the sp
8、ecified weight. and seven separate. packages of chemicals as follows: 3.4 COMPONENTS.- The kit shall consist of an instruction sheet 1 package of Prehardener, Formula UH-1 1 package of.Birst Developer, Formula EW-1 2 packages of Bleach, Formula RB-1 or RB-2 1 package of Clearing Bath, Formula RC-1 1
9、 package of Second Developer, Formula “-1 1 package of Fixing Bath, Formula RF-2 or alternate 3.5 CONTAINERS.- Inner containers shall be used to package chemicals of a formula which must be kept separated until use. Each main container shall enclose one.package of a formula, including any necessary
10、inner containers. The seven main containers shall be packaged with an instruction sheet in an outside container. 3.5.1 Container Haterial. - 3.5.1.1 Outside Container.- The outside container shall be a single rectangular-shaped carton made of Y-Board, of such size as to snugly enclose the contents o
11、f the kit, and of such strength as to withstand normal handling and shipment without tearing or breaking. 3.5.1.2 Main Containers.- The main containers shall be of tinplate or terneplate conforming to the requirements of Federal Specification O-P-16 and shall preclude the possibility of interaction
12、between the containers and the chemicals with which they come in contact. The containers may be round, square or rectangular in cross section. The containers shall be hermetically sealed and shall be equipped with suitable means for openins, such as key- type, rip-strip opening. 3.5.1.3 Inner Contai
13、n=.- The inner containers shall be of such material as to preclude the possibility of interaction between the container and the chemicals with which t comes in contact. Mixing should be done in a stainless steel bucket or an earthenware crock. B1each.m-1 should not be allowed to stand in stainless steel buckets
