For measur- ing the performance of the AN/ASQ-8 the equipment shall furnish measured and adjustable sinusoidal low frequency calibration signals successively to the inner and outer axis orienter magnetometers and thereafter accu

、rately measure signals from the servo and orientation circuits to allow a deter- mination of the quantitative performance of the AN/ASQ-8. 3.3.1.2 3.3. A. 3 Contents - The equipment shall include the following functional groups of circuits: 3.3.1.3.1 Signal Generator - The signal generator shall fur

、nish Ginusoidal test signais for use in adjushg and measuring the performance of the servo and orientation circuits of the AN/ASQ-8. The signal generator shall furnish signals in accordance with the following requirements : (i) Output Impedance - The output resistor shall be 100,000 ohms f 10% unles

、s another value is approved by the Bureau of Aero- nautics. (2) Test Signala - For servo adjustment and measurement, a single servo test signal ehal be furnished which can by suitable switching be applied to either the inner or outer. axis magneto- metere of the AN/ASQ-8. For orientation adjustment

、and measurement, dual orient test signals having quadrature phase relation shall be furnished simultaneously to the inner and outer axis magrietometers of the AN/ASQ-8. Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted without license from IHS-,-,-MIL-T-54bC 66 W 9999906 OL25OY7 3

、 M MIL-T- 5486C(Aer) (3) Frequency - The frequency of both servo and orient test signals shall be one cycle per second * 10% throughout the service con- ditions specified in paragraph 3.2.2. The harmonics shall be minimized and shall be limited sufficiently to allow use in ad- justing the AN/ASQ-8.

、(4) Orient Test Signal Level - The dual orient test signai levels from a source with an impedance of loo, O00 ohms or more shall be approximately 100 microamperes into a load impedance of approximately 50 ohms with less than O. 1 microampere d-c leakage. (5) Servo Test Signal Level - The servo test signal level from a source with an impedance of 100,000 ohms or more shall be adjustable from O to 400 microamperes into a load impedance of 50 ohms with less than 10 m
