REQUIREMENTS: IMPORTANT-Gum rosin only shall be used in compounding this material. Place the required amount of oil in
4、a double broiler or glue pot and heat to lOCelsius, add the required amount of gum rosin and agitate the mixture. When the mixture has become homogeneous, strain through a single thickness of ordinary cheese cloth into wide mouth cans or jars or other suitable containers. Do not thin this luting for
5、 convenience in using, but retain at original composition. In cold weather, heat slightly to facilitate use and spreading quality. This luting is intended for use only on such gas tight joints as may be specified.
