1 方法根述从待测件上指定的位置切吉I一块试样,镶嵌后,对横断面进行适当的研磨、抛光和漫蚀。
用校正过的标尺测量覆盖层横断面的厚度。
2 影响测量精度的因素2. 1 表面粗糙度若覆盖层或覆盖层的基体表面是粗糙的,则与覆盖层横断面接触的一条或两条界面线也是不规则的,以致不能精确测量见附录A补充件中A.4 J, 2.2 横断面的斜度横断面必须垂直于待测覆盖层,若有偏差,则测得的厚度将大于真实厚度。
如垂直度偏差10则测量值比真实厚度大I.5 i。
2.3 覆盖层变形镶嵌试样和制备横断面的过程中过高的温度和压力将使软的或低熔点的覆盖层产生变形,在制备脆性材料横断面时,过度的打磨也同样会产生变形。
2.4 覆盖层边缘倒角制备试样时不正确的镶嵌、研磨、抛光和浸蚀都会引起覆盖层横。
