2、as issued the following Tentative Interim Amendment to NFPA 55, Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Fluids Code, 2016 edition. The TIA was processed by the Technical Committee on Industrial and Medical Gases, and was issued by the Standards Council on April 6, 2016, with an effective date of April 26, 20
3、16. A Tentative Interim Amendment is tentative because it has not been processed through the entire standards-making procedures. It is interim because it is effective only between editions of the standard. A TIA automatically becomes a public input of the proponent for the next edition of the standa
4、rd; as such, it then is subject to all of the procedures of the standards-making process. 1. Revise 11.3.2.2.1 and 11.3.2.2.2* to read as follows: 11.3.2.2.1 The distances in 1, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 in Table 11.3.2.2 shall be permitted to be reduced by two-thirds, but to not less than 5 ft (1.5 m),
5、for insulated portions of the system. 11.3.2.2.2* The distances in 1, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 in Table 11.3.2.2 shall be permitted to be reduced by the use of fire barrier walls having a fire resistance rating of not less than 2 hours when constructed in accordance with 8.7.2.1 and 11.3.2.2.
