ESSENTIAL PROJECT SPECIFICATION CLAUSES Set o
7、ut suitable clauses it1 Portion 2 of the project specification to provide essential information as follows: a) (Subclause 3.1) If necessary, state that samples are to be delivered to a designated laboratory or other point instead of being delivered to site. b) (Subclause 3.1) State whether the engin
8、eers approval of the manufacturers published instructions is required. C) (Subclause 6.2) When appropriate, state the engineers requirements in respect of degrees of accuracy if Degree of Accuracy I1 is not applicable. ESSENTIAL DATA The availability of certain essential data may affect the prices t
9、endered. Except where such data have been given in the schedule or on the tender drawings, set out suitable clauses covering items such as the following in Portion 2 of the project specification: a) (Subclause 3.2) State what existing structures, if any, on site may be used or demolished by the cont
10、ractor. b) (Subclause 7.2) See Subclause 3.2.7 of Section A in regard to the testing laboratory. C) (Subclause 7.3) See Subclause 3.2.8 of Section A in regard to test methods. d) (Subclause 8.1.1) See Subclause Z.l(a) of Section A in regard to method of measurement. e) (Subclause 8.5) State the purp
11、ose of each provisional sum. f) (Subclause 8.5) See Subclause 2.l(e) of Section A in regard to temporary protection (if any) of a designated service. ADDITIONAL CLAUSES GENERAL. Where it is necessary to amplify or otherwise to vary the terms of SABS 1200 AA to render them suitable for use in project
12、s to be carried out in particular locations or under particular circumstances, include in Portion 2 of the project specification clauses dealing with matters other than those covered by Clauses 1 and 2 above. (See also Subclause 1.3 of Section A of Part 3 of the code.) NORMAL PROJECTS NOTE: To meet
13、requirements imposed by various norms of economic development, projects are classified as normal, prestige, subeconomic and labour-based projects (see Clause 4 of the Intro&ction to Part 3 of the code). Clauses Selected from Section A. Select appropriate clauses from the examples given in Subclauses
14、 3.2.1-3.2.13, inclusive, of Section A for use in PSAA clauses. If required, use the clauses given in Subclause 3.2.4 of Section A as the basis for a particular specification. Clauses Selected from SABS 1200 AI). Include as PSAA clauses the contents of appropriate clauses of SABS 1200 A to deal with
15、 circumstances that are not fully covered by SABS 1200 AA, for example: a) Provisional sums (Subclause 8.5 of SABS 1200 A) b) Prime cost items (Subclause 8.6 of SABS 1200 A) C) Daywork (Subclause 8.7 of SABS 1200 A) d) Temporary works (Subclause 8.8 of SABS 1200 A) Documentation and Dosign Requireme
16、nts. Compile project specification clauses and schedule items, where applicable, in accordance with Subclause 1.3 and Clause 2 of Section A of Part 3 of the code. PRESTIGE PROJECTS. SABS 1200 AA is generally not appropriate for prestige projects. SUBECONOMIC PROJECTS Until a suitable standardized sp
17、ecification has been published, state which clauses of SABS 1200 AA will not be applicable to the contract, as in the following example: SABS 0120 : Part 2 Section AA-1986 General (small works) PSAA GENERAL (S= WORKS) PSAA 1. 19、8.2.4.2 of SABS 1200 AA is, by virtue of this clause, no longer valid. 3.4.2 State the degree of accuracy applicable to each part of the works, as follows: PSAA 2. TOLERANCES (Subclause 6.2).
