It shall lather freely in water, at ambient temperature, that has a hardness (expressed as calcium carbonate) of 200 10-6. 4.2 Odour Unless otherwise required (see annex A), toilet soap shall be perfumed and, both as received and when dissolved in hot water, shall possess a

The sampling procedure shall also be used for adjudication in cases of dispute. NOTE Information on the

23、 quality verification of toilet soap is given in annex B. 5.1.2 Sample for inspection Draw at random from the lot a) five containers if the lot is packed in containers of net mass not exceeding 5 kg, and b) three containers if the lot is packed in containers of net mass greater than 5 kg. 5.1.3 Samp

24、le for testing 5.1.3.1 From the containers taken in accordance with 5.1.2, take at random enough soap to provide a laboratory sample of total mass at least 2 kg, unless the mass of individual units is 60 g or less. In this case, the laboratory sample can be reduced to a minimum of 1 kg. Take equal q

SANS 237:2008 Edition 3 6 5.1.3.2 Place the laboratory sample in clean, dry, air-tight glass or plastics containers clearly marked with the manufacturers name or trade mark, the batch identification, and the date of sampling. 5.1.3.3 In the case of unwrapped so

Calculate the average

Ensure that all the cuts are at right angles to one another. Completely slice or grate fi

31、.2.2.1 Immediately after preparing the composite specimen, take at one time all the test specimens required for analysis. 6.2.2.2 Weigh out the test specimen required for the determination of free alkali or free acid content last, and test it immediately. 6.2.2.3 Ensure that any pick-up or loss of m

The flaps of the wrapper shall be properly secured. 7.1.2 The toilet soap shall be packed in containers that are strong enough to withstand normal usage and transportation. These containers may then be packed in bulk packages. Only soap from the sam

A.2 The order or contract that specifies the requirements listed in A.1 shall be made available to inspection representatives for inspection purposes when so required. Annex B (informative) Quality verification

40、of toilet soap When a purchaser requires ongoing verification of the quality of toilet soap, it is suggested that, instead of concentrating solely on evaluation of the final product, he also direct his attention to the manufacturers quality system. In this connection it should be noted that SANS 9001 covers the provisions of an integrated quality system. Bibliography SANS 9001/ISO 9001, Quality management systems Requirements.
