31、side, which are typicaly distributed among a cel, a sector of a cel, and a mobile comunications switching center. 2. 46、le Aces (CDMA) mobile 4 stations. These standards are intended to ensure a level of electro-acoustic perforance 5 aproaching that defined by the ITU-T for PSTN circuits. These electro-acoustic 6 requirements are aplicable to al Spech Service Options suported by the mobile 7 station. These requiremen

47、ts are aplicable to mobile station handsets. Requirements for 8 loudspeaker, headset, and hands-fre configurations are not adresed in the curent 9 document and are for further study. Test methods are recomended in this document; 10 however, methods other than those recoended may sufice for the same

48、purpose. 11 1.2 Terms 12 Base Station. A station in the Domestic Public Celular Radio Telecomunications 13 Service, other than a mobile station, used for radio comunications with mobile 14 stations. 15 Codec. The combination of an analog-to-digital encoder and a digital-to-analog decoder 16 in series (encoder/decoder). 17 dBA.
