29、e than 250 V, for use in accordance withthe National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.1.2 In addition these requirements cover accessories and attachments for use with electric chain saws.Specific requirements are outlined in Sections 82 90.1.3 These requirements cover double-insulated chain saws. Specific

37、tive samples, as described in the Safety Requirements for Gasoline Powered Chain Saws,ANSI B175.1-1991.2.5 REPLACEMENT SAW CHAIN A chain that, when used for field replacement on those specificlisted chain saws identified on the chain reel or package marking, will provide protection against rotarykic
38、kback for the saw and chain combination conforming to the requirements for kickback in 30.3.3 Components3.1 Except as indicated in 3.2, a component of a product covered by this standard shall comply with therequirements for that component. See Appendix A for a list of standards covering components g
39、enerallyused in the products covered by this standard.3.2 A component is not required to comply with a specific requirement that:a) Involves a feature or characteristic not required in the application of the component in theproduct covered by this standard, orb) Is superseded by a requirement in thi

42、 materials throughout that are acceptable for the particular use.6 Frame and Enclosure6.1 A chain saw shall be so formed and assembled that it will have the strength and rigidity necessary toresist the abuses to which it is likely to be subjected, without increasing the risk of fire, electric shock,
