、RIZED FOR FURTHER REPRODUCTION OR DISTRIBUTION WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM UL INTRODUCTION 1 Scope 1.1 These requirements cover devices for use on stationary containers or portable LP-Gas containers that consist of a shutoff mechanism that works in conjunction with a liquid level sensing device that shu
、ts off the incoming ow of LP-Gas during a relling operation when the liquid level reaches a predetermined point. The sensing mechanism may be a oat, dip tube, or other type of sensor that is intended to cause operation of the shutoff mechanism. An overlling prevention device may be a separate compon
、ent intended for installation on cylinder or ll valves designed for such purposes, or may be incorporated into the design of a cylinder or ll valve assembly. Overlling prevention devices may be designed for use in automotive applications. 1.2 Overlling prevention devices covered by these requirement
、s are for use in applications covered by the following standards: a) Liqueed Petroleum Gas Code, NFPA No. 58. b) Outdoor Cooking Gas Appliances, ANSI Z21.58/CGA 1.6-M95. c) Standard on Recreational Vehicles, RVIA A119.2. 2 General 2.1 Components 2.1.1 Except as indicated in 2.1.2, a component of a p
、roduct covered by this standard shall comply with the requirements for that component. 2.1.2 A component is not required to comply with a specic requirement that: a) Involves a feature or characteristic not required in the application of the component in the product covered by this standard, or b) I
