11、ion 76-2 (1976) shall apply except for following clauses where CENELEC common modifications have been agreed. CLAUSE 2.1 AMENDMENT Amend the last line of the first paragraph so that the text of the paragraph becomes : “The temperature-rises of the windings, cores and oil.shall not exceed the limits
12、specified in tables III and IV when these t,emperature- rises are determined in accordance with clause 3 (for the most unfavourabie tappingfor those transformers fitted with taminas havine. a rated power exceeding 3.15 HVA and for those smaller transformers having a tapping range exceeding - + 5 % ;
13、 for the principal tapping, unless other- wise specified, in all other cases)“. Add the following note at the end of the sub-clause : Note : For those transformers to which arc-suppression coils are connected, the above-mentioned temperature-rise limits may be exceeded in case of addi- tional neutra

I At the beginning of this clause, immediately after the title, add : Preliminary note : I1 For transformers fitted with tappings, it is stated in Harmonization Document 398.4, .re

As several CENELEC countries are using arc-suppression coils, it is advisable to have here this reference to the IEC Application Guide. This addition is an edito- * 11 modification making easiei Lhe use of this HD for transfor- mers fitted with tappings (when IEC standard 76-2 was prepared, IEC standard 76-4 was not yet published and consequently there is a certain lack of coordination between these two documents).
