Abstract: This recommended practice describes data supporting the reliability evaluation of 28 existing industrial and commercial power systems. It is likely to be of greatest value to the pow

7、er- 29 oriented engineer with limited experience in the area of reliability. 45、ower Systems 182 IEEE P3000 Series 183 This recommended practice was developed by the Technical Books Coordinating Committee of the 184 Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Department of the Industry Applications Society, as part of a 185 project to repackage IEEEs popular series of “color books.

46、” The goal of this project is to speed up the 186 revision process, eliminate duplicate material, and facilitate use of modern publishing and distribution 187 technologies. 188 When this project is completed, the technical material included in the thirteen “color books” will be 189 included in a ser

47、ies of new standardsthe most significant of which will be a new book, IEEE Standard 190 3000, “Recommended Practice for the Engineering of Industrial and Commercial Power Systems.” The 191 new book will cover the fundamentals of planning, design, analysis, construction, installation, start-up, 192 o

48、peration, and maintenance of electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities.
