The voting period within the AECMA Technical Committee is two months from the

12、 date of despatch of the document and this will be completed before the expiry of the DPC comment date. Any comments received as a result of the DPC, after the expiry of the PPN ballot, will be reviewed by the BSI Committee and taken into account when they consider the UK view and vote on a possible

20、ication and acceptance conditions for signal data transmission electrical cables. The performance of the corresponding cables is specified in each of the product standards. 2 Normative references This European standard includes the provisions of other publications referred to ,by date or otherwise.

21、These reference standards are quoted in appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed below. For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications are only applicable to this European standard if they have been incorporated therein by amendment or

25、hall conform to the characteristics below, as well as the values specified in the product standards. 4.1 Conductor 4.1.1 - Material Conforming to EN 2083. 4.1.2 - Construction Conforming to EN 2083. 27、ics are maintained. Fillers may be used if they are required to obtain the sought-after characteristics. Conductors shall not be spliced. The assembly may be held together with an overall wrap. 4.4 Screening 4.4.1 Material The materials used for screening are defined in the product standards. The sc

28、reen strands shall conform to standard EN 2083. The screen strands or strips shall be free of i nks or cracks and their surface shall have no corrosion at all or any other impurities. 4.4.2 Construction 4.4.2.1 General remarks Depending on protection level, the screening may be composed of: - One or

29、 several spiral layers One or several braids made using strands or strips One or several metallic or other strips One or several layers of extruded conductive or non-conductive materials A combination of the above. - - - - The screening may be individual and/or overall. Splices of the individual str

30、ands or strips may be effected by brazing, soldering or folding in. The number of splices shall not exceed 1 per 3 m length of cable. 4.4.2.2 Screen coverage Coverage, if specified, is determined in accordance with EN 2235, type B. 4.5 Outer jacket Conforming to EN 2235. 4.6 Colours of components an

32、the marking shall comprise the cable reference (see clause 10) appearing in the product standard, the country and manufacturer codes and the last two figures of the year of manufacture in conformity with IS0 2574. It is applied to the outer sheath. The colour of the marking is given by the cable des
