7、andard specifies the rules for the representation of laminated parts as well as the information to be indicated in technical drawings. It applies to aerospace structures using laminated parts. It shall be used together with EN 4408-1. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dat
8、ed or undated reference, provisions from other publications. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter. For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this European Standard

10、urposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in EN 4408-1 apply. 4 General rules The general rules for the representation of parts made of composite material are specified in standard EN 4408-1. 5 Specific rules The representation of laminated parts basically differs from the others par
11、ts by the detailed representation of the different layers which make up the part. 5.1 Content of definition The definition of a part includes: - the list of the elements which make up the part; - the notes and definition of the materials; - the definition of the laminate aeras; - the representation

15、y be: - a detailed view; - a cross section; - a perspective; . - The part is represented in an unmachined state. For the representation of a section, see figure I. Each layer is represented by a continuous thick line which marks the middle line of the layer. The extremities of each layer are represe
16、nted by a point, while keeping the drawing readable. No point shall be at direction changes or at intersections. - To avoid any reprography or microfilming problem, the minimum distance between two consecutive lines shall not be less than 0,8 mm or twice the line width (refer to the values in the ta

20、r identification Layer are identified by a number. Identification of a section (see figures 3 and 4). Identification is achieved by 3-figure numbers increasing 5 by 5 and beginning at 1 01. This identification method allows to interpose a layer without modifying the other identifications. Generaly t
21、he identification is marked at the extremity of the ply by a fine line which is interrupted before the designated ply (see figure 3). 30、a number; for example : AI, A2, A3, . . . On a cross section, aeras dimensioning lines are dimension lines which finish at the extremity of each aera in the form of points (see figure 8).
